Team Training Expert


Having run my own training business for over 20 years, I specialise in helping commercial teams succeed (whether that’s identifying the right strategy or managing effective meetings). My primary areas of expertise are training leadership and commercial teams using trusted advisor and challenge-based principles.


Trusted Advisor: This is a philosophy created by David Maister, a former Harvard Business School Professor. The focus is on developing a team’s mindset and skillset, which in turn builds a reputation for expertise and reliability, enabling the team to cultivate a deep and empathetic intimacy with clients.


Challenge: The challenger sale was pioneered by CEB – the global best practice insights and technology company. Sales teams are trained to lead client awareness and add value to a client’s business rather than simply taking a brief. So through the team’s expertise they can add to the knowledge base of the client and enter a sales conversation with a clear point of view, taking a dynamic, not a passive role.


Over the years I have worked with a huge variety of organisations and with clients ranging from the most junior to the most senior, creating engaging and meaningful training programmes to suit all budgets. My client base is diverse but all are complex, profit-driven companies who hire smart, technically expert people and need them to perform at the top of their game constantly. My longstanding clients include Adaptive Labs, Pretty Green, Frank and ExCel.
